I can give them the invoice and estimate and sell it this summer so folks have time to do anything major. As long as the buyer has all the info, I think it's fair to sell as is and since I live in a small town, there's really only one repair shop that everyone uses. It was serviced last a little over a year ago and was in good working order then. I don't want to sell something that isn't in good repair. Thank you! I really appreciate your input! Thanks Philip! I was actually thinking it would be good to have it serviced so I know exactly what condition it's in. I would ask for the higher amount, of course, and give myself some negotiating room if it were my horn to market. However Yamaha enjoys a great reputation and is a worthy starter instrument. We purchased the 4C mouth piece new and there are six new reeds still in the box. There are no dents but it does have minor scratching. I'd like to spare another parent that and still get a reasonable price. We went the rental route before purchasing and the cost was silly. It is in pretty good condition and was serviced regularly while she was playing. I am interested in offering her used sax for sale but I don't know how much to ask for it. Buying Format. My middle schooler played sax for two years and then got seriously into Volleyball and soccer. Used 13 Items For parts or not working 3 Items 3.
